Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate, where Joe was not exactly performing to the highest level of debate standards. She said that she thought he was having a "stroke," and various other really bad things, and yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do. The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse. In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple "choke," leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!

Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate

Jill Biden's memoir 'View from the East Wing,' published May 2026. However, the characterization that she is 'finally admitting' implies concealment; she has discussed the debate before. The debate itself drew an average of approximately 51.3 million viewers across networks, which was strong but not record-breaking (Harris-Trump debate later drew 67+ million)

She said that she thought he was having a "stroke," and various other really bad things

Reporting on Jill Biden's memoir indicates she described fearing something was medically wrong with the President during the debate, with accounts referencing concerns about a stroke or similar episode. The specific word 'stroke' has been reported in excerpts and summaries of her book. The claim appears to reflect real content from the memoir, though the framing is sensationalized. The exact phrasing in the memoir is 'Is this a stroke?' — a direct question she asked herself, not a definitive diagnosis. The claim accurately reflects the memoir's content.

yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do

Video and contemporaneous reporting show Jill Biden did go on stage immediately after the debate ended and was seen speaking supportively with Joe Biden on stage in front of the audience. Trump's claim that she 'never rushed onto the stage' is contradicted by widely available footage. The normative judgment about what 'any good wife would do' is an opinion, not a factual claim.

did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple "choke," leading to his ignominious defeat

Trump did not defeat Biden in the general election; Biden withdrew from the 2024 race in July 2024 and was replaced by Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee. Trump defeated Harris in November 2024. Attributing Biden's 'defeat' directly to the debate performance conflates Biden's debate and his subsequent withdrawal with the general election outcome.
